Setting up Internet Explorer to Play the Demos from a Local Drive

This applies to you if this message appears just above the body of the page: "to help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options". This is a security feature that was introduced in Windows XP service pack 2 that blocks web pages from running locally (i.e. from a local drive or from a CD).

Steps Required to Acknowledge this Message:

1)
Click once on the Information Bar that appeared above the body of the page.
2)
From the drop down box that appears, click on "Allow Blocked Content..." .
3)
Internet Explorer shows a Security Warning dialog box. Click Yes to continue.

Steps Required to Disable this Message Permanently:

In Internet Explorer, click on Tools and select Internet Options from the drop down box.
2)
Click on the Advanced tab.
3)
Scroll down to find the Security heading.
4)
Under Security, check "Allow active content from CDs to run on My Computer".
5)
Under Security, check "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer".
6)
Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
7)
Close all Internet Explorer windows. The message is disabled the next time Internet Explorer opens.
