This procedure describes how to automatically clamp a Test Part in Manual Mode. For the sequence of operations performed with the AUTO CLAMP - CLAMPED function, refer to the procedure below.
Test Stand Start Condition: POWER ON in Manual Mode with the DRIVES ON, CONVEYOR ON, HYDRAULICS ON and a Test Part in the clamping position.
PROCEDURE:

Verify that the Test Stand is powered on in Manual Mode and a Test Part is in the Clamping Position.
- Verify that the Test Stand is ready to operate. The Drives, Hydraulic and Conveyor devices should all be ON.
- Press the
F14 Softkey on the Siemens Control Panel to go to default Page 1 of 5 on the Manual Functions screens.

Press and hold the
S8 Softkey AUTO CLAMP - CLAMPED until the CLAMPED text gets a yellow box behind it.
- To start the Bauer Test Sequence go to the Bauer Control Cabinet. Verify that the screen focus is on the PCS - Bauer Controls screen.
- Select the test you would like to run from the Test Selections Area.
- Press the Start Test Icon in the lower left corner of the PCS - Bauer Controls screen. The message Test completed PART ACCEPTED will appear in the box below the Test Selections Area.
