PROCEDURE:
  1. Go to the station and visually check to see what side of the station jammed, the long cage bearing side or the short cage bearing side.
  2. Open the station door and enter the station.

The station conveyor will continue to run even though the station door is open.
  3. Visually inspect the curved tube to see if its full of bearings.
  4. If the curved feed tube is not full, unscrew the two black knobs to remove the plexiglas plate.
  5. Removed any jammed bearings from the feed tube. If a Rod Cap gets into the feed tube, it will usually jam in the curved section.
  6. Once the jam is cleared, clean out the curved tube to remove any dirt or foreign material that may be causing the bearings to jam and then re-install the plexiglas plate.
  7. If no jams are found in the curved feed tube, inspect the are just below the curve. This area should hold 3 cage bearings. If the bearings are jammed in this area, remove the bearings and clean the area to remove any dirt or foreign material.
  8. If there are no jams feed tube under the curve, push the cage bearings back away from the top feed area and then push a few cage bearings down the feed tube. The bearings should drop freely through the feed tube.
  9. If the bearings appear to be hanging up inside the feed tube, clean out the tube by passing a clean rag soaked with an approved solvent through the feed tube to remove oily build up inside the tube.
  10. If Rod Caps are jamming in the return pipe, it can also be cleaned out by first removing the elbow at the end of the pipe and then passing a clean rag soaked with an approved solvent through the feed tube to remove the oily build up.
