This procedure is used to verify that a Vision camera is online.
The Vision camera must be online in order for the station to operate properly.
PROCEDURE:
Go to the Vision camera and look at the 3 LED's located on the back of the camera.
If the green LED on the right is illuminated, the 24V power supply to the camera is on.
If both green LED's are illuminated, the camera is online.
If the camera is not online, go to the computer controlling the Vision camera.
If the In-Sight program is not displayed on the computer screen, click on the In-Sight Explorer tab located at the bottom to bring if up from the background. If the In-Sight program is not running for some reason, double click on the In-Sight Explorer icon from the desktop screen.
If the camera you're checking is in OP70 or OP80, you can view the status of all 4 cameras on the same screen by clicking on "View" from the top toolbar and then selecting the "Tile" option from the drop-down menu. All camera views will then be displayed on the screen.
If the camera is online, the "Online" box located in the lower right hand corner of each screen will be green.
If the camera is offline, the "Online" box located in the lower right hand corner of each screen will be tan.
If one of the cameras is not online, click on that camera's screen to select it. When selected, the screens title bar will be blue.
Next, click on "Device" from the top toolbar and then select the "Online" option from the drop-down menu. Once selected, a checkmark will appear to the left of "Online".
The "Online" box located in the lower right hand corner of each screen will turn green.
Verify that both green LED's on the back on the camera are illuminated. The camera is now online.
