This procedure explains how to replace the Diamond Dresser which is used to Dress the Grinding Wheel to keep it sharp. Periodically the Diamond Dresser may become damaged, warn or carbonized and
brittle. It is important to keep a clean Diamond Dresser installed at all times.
Always "TEACH IN" the Diamond Dresser to the Grinding Wheel after changing the Diamond Dresser or the Grinding Wheel! Failure to do this will cause a collision between the Diamond Dresser and the Grinding Wheel which will severely damage the Grinder.
Tools Needed:
3mm Allen Wrench
Diamond Dresser Blade (Plant Tool # 0201028)
PROCEDURE:
Power down the Grinder and install the proper Lockout/Tagout
device.
Loosen the two 3mm
Screws that secure the Diamond Dresser Blade in the Diamond Dresser Bracket.
Push a new Diamond
Dresser Blade into the Diamond Dresser Bracket until it stops against
the back of the Bracket.
Tighten the two 3mm
Screws to secure the Diamond Dresser Blade in the Diamond Dresser Bracket.
Power up the Grinder and then teach in the new Diamond
Dresser Blade to the Grinding Wheel.
Always "Teach In" the Diamond Dresser to the Grinding Wheel after changing the Diamond Dresser or the Grinding Wheel! Failure to do this will cause a collision between the Diamond Dresser and the Grinding Wheel which could severely
damage the Machine.
