How to Check the Feed Plate Clutch Alignment

This procedure is used to check the Feed Plate Clutch alignment using the Schuler Testing Die and the Steel Test Finger. If the alignment is off, the Reverse Die hits the Feed Fingers, causing Clutch Overloads and Collar Interruptions.

Always perform a Paper Check before checking or adjusting the Feed Plate Clutch alignment to eliminate the Reverse Die centering as the cause of the Feed Plate Clutch overloads. Click here for procedure
