Operating Mode Selector Switch

The Operating Mode Selector Switch can be set to four different operating modes. Each operating mode is described below.

OFF:
When this mode is selected, the clutch can not be engaged.

SET-UP SLOW SPEED:
When this mode is selected, the drive motor runs in lower speed range at approximately 30 strokes per minute. In this mode, the clutch is engaged by pushing both CLUTCH ON push-buttons located inside the press.

SET-UP STARTING RPM:
When this mode is selected, the drive motor runs at approximately 350 strokes per minute.

AUTOM. CONTINUOUS:
When this mode is selected, as soon as the clutch engages, the drive motor runs at the starting stroke rate and ramps up to the set required stroke rate. The set required stroke rate can be viewed on the Production screen.
